We are open to girls from all over the Permian Basin to tryout. Permian Basin Elite Volleyball Club was formed in 2012.  It has made it possible for girls as young as 8 years old to 18 years old to travel and compete against teams around Texas and surrounding states. Anyone interested in coaching for the club can reach out to Linda McMillan. Please share this with all girls that you know that are interested in trying out and enjoy volleyball. We have plans to have several boys teams that will compete this season. If you know boys in these age groups, please share the info and have them attend the tryouts. We have the following board of directors in place for the club: Club Director/Coach Linda McMillan, Coordinator of Spiritual Guidance/Devotionals Coach Gillian Danley-Herrera, Coordinator of Coaches’ Trainings and Character Education Coach Rachel Hignojos, Treasurer Kasera Porras and Sondra Hubble, Assistant to the Director. All of these awesome people have agreed to serve their time as board members and help our club move forward. We have made some changes in our club workings and in our tryouts. We want our club to continue to grow and progress the skills and Faith, Service, and Character of all our members. These are our base words and we will strive to work extremely hard with your daughters and/or sons to make our club a positive and nurturing atmosphere. You are welcome to contact Coach Linda McMillan with any questions or issues that you might have. We look forward to a great season! 432-634-7460 lindageorgemcmillan@gmail.com Please tell everyone to like our Facebook page Permian Basin Elite Volleyball Club. Membership to our club is $125.  We have a Permian Basin Elite Volleyball Club Facebook page – We host a tournament in January and March for our teams to be able to play and not have to travel.  Club members are to participate in Monthly Service Projects. Our three base words are Faith, Service, and Character. Our base scriptures are: 1 Samuel 12: 24    “Only fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart.  For consider what great things he has done for you. Faith –  2 Corinthians 5: 7  For we live by faith, not by sight. Service –   Colossians 3: 23-24  “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward.  You are serving the Lord Christ.” Character-   Romans 5: 3-5   More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been has been given to us.
